Pay: £12.71 per hour
Shifts: Days and Nights (No Sleep-In Shifts)
Hours: Ad hoc – hours vary, with up to 3 shifts per week available

About the Role

We are looking for compassionate, resilient, and motivated Support Workers to join our team, supporting young people aged 16–18 with a range of complex needs.

This is a trauma-informed role where you will support young people to build independence, improve their wellbeing, and achieve positive outcomes. You will work with young people who may present with mental health needs, substance misuse, complex behaviours, and high-risk vulnerabilities.

Every day is different, and you'll play a key role in engaging young people, building trusting relationships, completing support and health-related assessments, promoting safety, and encouraging them to develop the skills and confidence needed to live independently.

Responsibilities

  • Provide trauma-informed, person-centred support to young people aged 16–18.
  • Build positive and trusting relationships to encourage engagement.
  • Support young people with their emotional wellbeing and mental health.
  • Work with individuals experiencing substance misuse and complex needs.
  • Complete health and wellbeing assessments and contribute to support planning.
  • Promote independence, life skills, and positive outcomes.
  • Safeguard young people and manage high-risk situations appropriately.
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with professionals and partner agencies.
  • Work flexibly across day and night shifts.
