Estimator role
Temporary, Fixed-Term Contract (12 months – Maternity Cover)
£12.50 per hour | Based in Skipton
Monday to Friday 8am till 4.30pm – 30 minute lunch
We’re currently supporting a leading UK engineering business based in Skipton, in the search for an Estimator to join their growing team on a 12-month maternity cover contract.
What you’ll be doing:
As an Estimator, you’ll be responsible for:
• Gathering information for customer orders and preparing accurate cost estimates using bespoke internal systems.
• Communicating pricing and project information to internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborating with different departments to ensure delivery of the best possible service.
• Handling a variety of administrative tasks & data entry with efficiency and precision
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a busy, collaborative environment and is looking to gain valuable experience in a well-respected company. While this is a temporary role, there may be opportunities for progression as the business continues to grow.
What we’re looking for:
To be considered for this role, you should be able to demonstrate:
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• A quick learner with the ability to pick up new software with ease
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• A strong team player who gets on well with others
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Solid administrative skills and the ability to meet deadlines
