• Contract Type: Full-time, maternity cover (until July 2026)
• Daily Rate: £168 – £215 per day

About the Role:

• Deliver engaging and high-quality Science lessons aligned with the national curriculum
• Plan and adapt lessons to meet the needs of diverse learners
• Inspire a genuine interest in Biology, Chemistry and Physics through practical and theoretical approaches
• Monitor and track student progress, providing clear and supportive feedback
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Contribute to departmental planning and the wider life of the school

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent UK-recognised teaching qualification
• Have strong subject knowledge across the Science curriculum (KS3 & KS4)
• Be confident in planning and delivering inclusive, engaging, and differentiated lessons
• Demonstrate excellent classroom management and communication skills
• Be committed to raising attainment and inspiring learners to reach their potential
• Uphold safeguarding responsibilities and promote student wellbeing at all times
