Recovery Practitioner – Burnley

Role Overview:

As a Recovery Practitioner, you will support residents with complex health and social needs, providing both emotional and practical support. You will deliver psychosocial support to individuals in recovery, empowering them to make positive changes in their lives. Your role will involve working closely with victims and survivors of domestic abuse within a trauma-informed service.

Requirements:

Previous experience working in a trauma-informed service for victims of domestic abuse is essential.
Knowledge of recovery and rehabilitation processes.
Understanding of harm reduction principles.
Familiarity with the criminal justice system and probation services in relation to offending behaviour.
Strong communication skills and the ability to offer proactive, empathetic support.
