DBS Required

We are currently recruiting a reliable Laundry Assistant to work in a care home environment. This is a vital role in ensuring residents' dignity, comfort, and hygiene are maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

• Wash, dry, iron, and sort residents’ clothing and linen

• Handle items with care and return them correctly labelled

• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently

• Maintain a clean, organised laundry area

• Report any damaged or missing items to management

Requirements:

• Previous laundry or domestic experience preferred

• Good attention to detail and time management

• Ability to work independently and follow procedures

• Respectful and discreet handling of personal items

• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
