Job Title and Service:
Interim Acting Manager – Children’s Residential Service

Location:
North East

Daily Rate:
£350 to £500 per day (dependent on experience)

Contract:
Interim / Temporary Assignment

Essential Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Registered or Acting Manager within children’s residential care

• Strong understanding of Ofsted regulations and children’s home standards

• Skilled in leading teams and managing safeguarding, quality, and compliance

• Experience in service stabilisation or improvement projects

• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (Children and Young People) or equivalent

The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Interim Acting Manager to lead a children’s residential service in the North East. You will provide operational leadership, ensure Ofsted compliance, and maintain high standards of care and safeguarding. The role involves stabilising the service, supporting staff development, and delivering positive outcomes for children and young people.
