• Contract Type: Full-time, ongoing
• Daily Rate: £168 – £215 per day

About the Role:

• Deliver engaging and practical Food Technology lessons in line with the national curriculum
• Teach key concepts in Food Preparation and Nutrition, supporting students to develop essential life skills
• Plan and prepare lessons that cater to a range of learning needs and abilities
• Encourage creativity, independence, and safe practices in the kitchen
• Assess student progress effectively, providing clear and constructive feedback
• Contribute to departmental planning and work collaboratively with colleagues
• Promote a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students are motivated to succeed

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent UK-recognised teaching qualification
• Specialise in Food Technology or a related subject area
• Have strong subject knowledge and a passion for hands-on, practical learning
• Be confident in planning and delivering creative and inclusive lessons
• Demonstrate excellent classroom management and organisational skills
• Be committed to helping students develop confidence, resilience, and essential life skills
• Uphold safeguarding responsibilities and promote student wellbeing
