FE Art Teacher

Rotherwood Education are looking to recruit a highly motivated Art Teacher to join a forward thinking, vibrant high school in the Keighley area.

This position is set to start ASAP and is permanent.

As a full-time Art Teacher, the applicant will be expected to take part in any necessary activities/ duties of a permanent member of staff including planning and parent's evenings if required.

Position Details:

Job Title: FE Art Teacher

Location: Keighley

Start Date: May 2026, Permanent

Contract Type: Full-time, 5 days per week

Daily Rate: £168.80 – £215.68 per day

About the Role:

• Deliver engaging and inspiring Art lessons in line with the National Curriculum
• Plan and prepare high-quality lessons tailored to a range of learning abilities
• Monitor and support student progress through meaningful assessment and feedback
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Contribute to the wider life of the school and departmental initiatives

The successful Art Teacher will:

• Hold a valid teaching qualification such as PGCE, QTS or QTLS
• Have previous experience teaching Art to KS5.
• Be an excellent, inspirational teacher with strong classroom management
• Provide details of last 2 latest references, covering the last 5 years’ work history
• Possess a current DBS check or be prepared to apply for one as part of your registration
• Be committed to the safeguarding of children and young people
• Be willing to complete a face-to-face registration and satisfy several checks
