Description
Location: Gisburn & Forest of Pendle – with travel across Lancashire as required
Salary: £12.25 per hour + £55.00 per sleep-in
(Enhanced rates for Bank Holidays – e.g. Christmas double pay, Boxing Day & New Year’s Eve time and a half)
Hours: Flexible – choose shifts that suit you
(Example shift: 10am–11pm followed by a sleep-in until 8am, then continuing until 11pm, ending at 10:30am the following morning. All shifts are 2:1 staffing.)
Contract: Bank – with optional weekly pay
Essential Requirements:

Driving licence (required)

Experience working with young people (preferred, not essential)

Flexibility and willingness to support young people in a crisis environment
The Role:
You will provide vital support to young people aged 8–17 in short-term crisis placements, ensuring their safety and wellbeing. Responsibilities include:

Engaging young people in activities and routines

Supporting them at appointments and meetings

Helping with household duties such as cooking and cleaning

Managing behaviours and setting clear boundaries

Creating a homely, supportive environment
