Job Role: Joiner

Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Joiner to join our client’s dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:

• Measure, cut, and assemble wood and other materials to create structural components, cabinetry, doors, and windows.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and plans to ensure precision and quality.
• Install joinery components on-site, ensuring high standards of finish.
• Collaborate with other trades and team members to meet project deadlines.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and adhere to health and safety regulations on-site.
• Provide expert advice on materials and techniques when needed.

Key Skills:

• Proficiency in using a variety of woodworking tools, including hand tools, power tools, and machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work within a team or independently.
• Problem-solving skills, with the ability to make adjustments on the job.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Joiner, with a solid portfolio of past work.
• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Carpentry/Joinery is desirable.
• Full UK Driving License (or equivalent).
• Ability to work on-site, including travel to various locations as required.
• Flexibility to work overtime or weekends as project deadlines demand.
