Site Services Operative

Location: Keighley
Pay Rate: £13.39 per hour
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:30am – 4:35pm | Friday, 7:30am – 12:10pm
Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent

Rotherwood Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Site Services Operative on behalf of a well-established manufacturing company based in Keighley.

This is an excellent opportunity for a practical and reliable individual who enjoys a varied, hands-on role. The successful candidate will join a small site services team responsible for maintaining the site, supporting compliance activities, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating a Counterbalance Fork Lift Truck
• Carrying out general site maintenance and housekeeping duties
• Waste management activities in line with environmental procedures
• Basic painting, repairs, and DIY tasks
• Grounds maintenance, including gardening and site upkeep
• Conducting routine site inspections and equipment checks
• Supporting fire safety and compliance procedures
• Assisting with the operation and maintenance of site equipment
• Working collaboratively within a two-person team and providing cover during holidays and absences

Requirements

• Valid Counterbalance FLT licence (essential)
• Previous experience in a warehouse, labouring, maintenance, or site services role
• Good practical and DIY skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Strong work ethic and willingness to undertake a variety of tasks
• Flexible approach to overtime when required

Training Provided

Full training will be provided on site-specific systems, equipment, compliance procedures, and maintenance responsibilities.
