Registered Manager – Children’s Residential Service
Location: Fylde Coast
Salary: £60,000 per annum
Hours: Full-time
Contract: Permanent
Essential Requirements:
-
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards)
-
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in residential childcare
-
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a management or deputy role within a children’s home
-
Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and quality standards
-
Proven leadership and team management skills
-
Full UK driving licence
The Role:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Ofsted Registered Manager to lead a brand-new 2-bed children’s home for young people aged 8–16 with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).
You will be responsible for all aspects of the home’s setup, registration, and ongoing management, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and structured environment where children can thrive. This is a rewarding opportunity to shape a new home from the ground up and create a place that truly feels like family.
In addition to leading the home, this role offers genuine long-term progression. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop into a Director-level position, supporting the growth of the organisation and overseeing wider business operations as the company expands.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead the Ofsted registration process and manage day-to-day operations of the home

Develop and maintain high-quality care plans tailored to each young person’s needs

Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements

Recruit, train, and support staff to deliver outstanding care

Build positive relationships with parents, carers, professionals, and external agencies

Manage budgets and resources effectively

Promote a culture of safeguarding, inclusion, and respect
