The Role:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Ofsted Registered Manager to lead a brand-new 2-bed children’s home for young people aged 8–16 with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).

You will be responsible for all aspects of the home’s setup, registration, and ongoing management, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and structured environment where children can thrive. In addition to leading the home, this role offers genuine long-term progression. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop into a Director-level position, supporting the growth of the organisation and overseeing wider business operations as the company expands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Ofsted registration process and manage day-to-day operations of the home

  • Develop and maintain high-quality care plans tailored to each young person’s needs

  • Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements

  • Build positive relationships with parents, carers, professionals, and external agencies

  • Manage budgets and resources effectively

  • Promote a culture of safeguarding, inclusion, and respect

Benefits:

  • Opportunity to open and shape a new children’s home

  • Clear pathway to progress into a Director role within the organisation

  • Supportive and collaborative leadership team

  • Professional development and career growth opportunities

  • Competitive salary and ongoing training
