Job Title: Machine Operative – Grinding Department
Location: Outskirts of Keighley
Employment Type: Temporary (with potential to become permanent)
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday, 6:00pm – 6:00am
Rate of Pay: £13.43 per hour

Job Purpose
The Machine Operative will be responsible for operating grinding machinery within a busy manufacturing environment. The role requires attention to detail, adherence to health and safety procedures, and the ability to work efficiently during night shifts.

Key Responsibilities
• Operate grinding machines safely and efficiently
• Monitor machine performance and report faults or issues
• Ensure finished products meet quality standards
• Carry out basic machine maintenance and cleaning
• Follow health and safety regulations at all times
• Maintain a clean and organised work area
• Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors

Requirements
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or machine operative role preferred
• Experience within a grinding department advantageous but not essential
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts
• Good attention to detail and quality standards
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
