We're working with a respected North West support provider seeking an experienced Homeless Services Manager to lead a dispersed accommodation and floating support service for individuals and families at risk of or experiencing homelessness.
This organisation delivers trauma-informed, inclusive services that support vulnerable people to secure, sustain and thrive in safe housing. Their award-winning projects include supported housing, rough sleeper outreach, refugee resettlement, and tenancy sustainment across multiple boroughs.
The Role:
As Homeless Services Manager, you’ll oversee staff teams across supported housing and floating support services in Bury. You'll lead on service performance, staff development, safeguarding, partnership working, and ensuring quality outcomes for people at risk of homelessness. This is a pivotal role in a growing organisation, with opportunities to influence strategy, drive innovation, and develop best practice.
Key responsibilities:

Lead and motivate a team of support staff and an Assistant Coordinator

Oversee day-to-day service delivery, ensuring KPI targets and compliance are met

Embed trauma-informed approaches and customer co-production into the service

Build strong partnerships with commissioners, housing providers and local services

Manage safeguarding, evictions, risk, incidents, and complaints professionally

Deliver on financial targets, including rent collection, voids, and budget control

Ensure audit readiness and uphold high standards in all service properties

Contribute to group-wide service development and occasional out-of-area support
What we're looking for:

Experience managing supported housing or homelessness services

Confident in leading diverse teams in fast-paced settings

Skilled in safeguarding, compliance, and trauma-informed practices

Values-led, non-judgemental and committed to empowering service users

Comfortable with reporting, contract management and partnership working

Driver with access to a vehicle (regular travel in Bury and occasional travel to Burnley)
Desirable:
-
Relevant qualification in Health & Social Care or Leadership & Management (or willingness to work towards it)
