Essential Requirements
• Care Certificate or NVQ Level 2 or 3 or willingness to complete
• Experience within residential, nursing or supported living settings
• Strong understanding of vulnerable adult care and support
• Knowledge of care plans, health and safety and risk assessment
• Clear verbal communication with customers, families and professionals
• Ability to produce clear written notes and reports
• Strong interpersonal skills including empathy, teamwork and conflict resolution
• Ability to prioritise workload and resolve day to day issues
• Willingness to undertake required training
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
• Clear DBS and satisfactory references

The Role
• Deliver person centred care and support that empowers customers to live independently
• Assist with personal care for male and female customers
• Follow customer care and support plans precisely
• Administer medication in line with GP instructions and record accurately
• Support recreational, social, vocational and educational activities
• Maintain a culture of excellence in everyday practice
• Keep accurate records in line with company policies
• Attend training, meetings and development sessions as required
• Communicate proactively with colleagues to ensure continuity of care
• Maintain confidentiality at all times
• Adhere to policies, procedures and service protocols
