About the Role
Our client based in Keighley is looking to recruit an Experienced Print Operative to join their busy print production team in Keighley. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and motivated individual looking for a long-term role with the potential to become permanent.
As a Print Operative, you will play a key role in the setup, operation, and maintenance of commercial printing machinery, ensuring high-quality production standards are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
• Operate and maintain printing presses efficiently and safely
• Set up machines for production runs, including ink, plates, and paper alignment
• Monitor print quality and make necessary adjustments during runs
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment
• Ensure production targets and deadlines are met
• Work closely with the production team to maintain workflow and minimise downtime
• Adhere to company health and safety procedures at all times

Skills and Experience Required
• Proven experience working within a print production environment
• Experience operating Akiyama or Heidelberg printing machines is highly advantageous
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good problem-solving and mechanical skills
• Reliable, punctual, and able to manage time effectively
