Domestic Care Worker – Todmorden

Location: Todmorden
Salary: £12.50 – £14.00 per hour depending on experience
Travel: Travel time between calls paid + 45p per mile mileage

We are recruiting 6 Domestic Care Workers to support individuals in the Todmorden area. We are considering both temporary and permanent candidates, full time and part time.

This service requires flexibility. Applications will not be considered from candidates who can only work Monday to Friday or restricted school hours.

The Role

• Deliver person centred care and support
• Assist with personal care for male and female service users
• Administer and record medication in line with care plans
• Support with daily living tasks and maintaining independence
• Encourage social, recreational and community engagement
• Maintain accurate records and follow policies and procedures

Requirements

• Previous care experience preferred
• Care Certificate or Level 2 or 3 NVQ desirable, or willingness to complete
• Flexible availability including evenings and weekends
• Drivers preferred, however walkers and bus users will be considered
