Essential Requirements
Previous experience working in care preferred
Experience supporting elderly individuals in the community or care settings
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle preferred due to community based work
Compassionate and reliable with a person centred approach
Understanding of safeguarding and professional boundaries
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service preferred

The Role
We are currently recruiting for Community Care Assistants to support elderly individuals living in their own homes in the Todmorden area.

This role involves providing person centred care and practical support to help individuals remain independent in their own homes. You will be supporting with daily routines, companionship and ensuring the wellbeing and comfort of the people you support.

Duties may include assisting with personal care, supporting with medication, preparing meals, helping with light household tasks and providing companionship. You will play an important role in promoting independence, dignity and quality of life for those receiving support.
