Location: Barrowford
Salary: £12.21–£12.50 per hour plus sleep-in payments
Hours: Bank casual, days and nights available, flexible shifts

Essential Requirements

  • Experience supporting children or young people with complex needs

  • Confident managing behaviours linked to self-harm, suicidal ideation, mental health, and challenging behaviour

  • Strong communication, resilience, and ability to follow care plans and safeguarding procedures

  • Due to the nature of personal care and safeguarding requirements, this post is restricted to women only, an Occupational Requirement under the Equality Act 2010 to ensure safe and appropriate support

The Role

  • Provide safe, consistent support during crisis and respite periods

  • Deliver person-centred care, emotional support, and assistance with daily living tasks

  • Maintain accurate records and work collaboratively with colleagues

  • Promote safety, safeguarding, and positive outcomes
