Job Title: Polisher, Finishing and Grinder
Location: Haslingden
Salary: £14.00 – £15.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm (40 hours per week)
Holidays: 33 days including Bank Holidays

Overview:
Rotherwood Recruitment is recruiting for a Polisher, Finishing and Grinder on behalf of a well-established manufacturer. This role involves working with stainless steel products to achieve a high-quality finish, ensuring all components meet required standards and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Polish, finish and grind stainless steel components
• Work from engineering drawings and specifications
• Use hand tools, power tools, files and emery paper
• Carry out quality checks and visual inspections
• Meet production targets and deadlines
• Maintain a clean and organised workspace
• Assemble components prior to further processing

Requirements:

• Previous experience in polishing, grinding or metal finishing
• Ability to read engineering drawings (preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
• Good organisational and communication skills
• Ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
