Description

Our client is a values-driven housing and support provider delivering supported accommodation and wrap-around care to individuals with complex needs: homelessness, substance misuse, mental ill-health and offending backgrounds. Their mission is to provide trauma-informed, person-centred support to help residents achieve long-term stability and independence.

Role Overview

As Complex Needs Keyworker you will be directly employed by us — but working day-to-day for our client’s supported accommodation service. You will:

  • Provide personalised housing management and support to residents.

  • Develop and implement co-produced support and risk-management plans.

  • Deliver trauma-informed one-to-one and group support.

  • Help residents engage with community, rebuild social connections and support networks.

  • Coordinate multi-agency support (housing, health services, probation, social services) to address complex needs and progress rehousing pathways.

  • Enforce housing/licence agreement compliance and support residents in maintaining tenancy standards.

  • Assist residents in resettlement: tenancy sustainment, benefits navigation, life skills, budgeting, health and wellbeing.

  • Maintain detailed case-management records for audit, safeguarding and service evaluation.

  • Respond flexibly to crisis, safeguarding concerns and emergent needs as part of shift/mixed-hours work.

Applicant Profile

You should have:

  • Strong interpersonal, communication and motivational skills; ability to build trust with clients and manage challenging behaviour non-judgmentally.

  • Proven experience supporting clients with complex and multiple needs (homelessness, mental health, substance misuse, offending).

  • Competency in safeguarding, risk assessment and crisis management.

  • Good organisational skills; able to manage a caseload, keep accurate documentation, work under pressure and manage time effectively.

  • Ability to work flexibly — shifts, evenings, weekends, potential outreach / crisis calls.

  • Basic IT literacy (case-management and record-keeping systems).

  • Right to work in the UK.

What They Offer

  • Competitive salary and benefits package.

  • Ongoing professional support and supervision.

  • Professional development and training opportunities.

  • Employee well-being support, staff recognition and benefits.

  • Real impact: helping vulnerable individuals obtain stability, dignity and long-term change.

Compliance & Safeguarding

Appointment will be subject to enhanced DBS, satisfactory references and UK right-to-work verification. No sponsorship offered.
