Interim Commissioning Manager – Adult Social Care

Daily Rate:
£250 to £400 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract:
Interim / Temporary Assignment
Essential Requirements:

Proven experience as a Commissioning Manager within adult social care, housing, or health services

Strong understanding of commissioning cycles, contract management, and service procurement

Ability to develop, monitor, and review provider performance

Skilled in partnership working with local authorities, CCGs, and external agencies

Strategic mindset with operational delivery capability
The Role:
We are seeking an Interim Commissioning Manager to lead on commissioning projects across adult social care services in the North West. The role includes managing provider relationships, developing service specifications, overseeing contract compliance, and driving service improvement initiatives. You will ensure commissioned services deliver value for money while meeting the needs of vulnerable adults.
