Job Title: Wiring/Assembly Operative

Responsible to: Team Leader & Shop floor Supervisors

Our client is a successful manufacturing company who produce high quality bespoke lighting.  This role will involve being part of a team of creative individuals and artisans to deliver bespoke lighting to our customers, whilst maintaining high quality manufacturing.

This role provides daily challenges and stretches the imagination. The ability to work under pressure within a fast-paced environment and with a varied product range is key to this role. Common sense and flexibility is a must as overtime is occasionally needed.

Main Responsibilities

• To assemble and wire bespoke lighting products
• To ensure the highest standards of quality and safety are always maintained
• To assist in the department as instructed by the production supervisor
• To ensure safe working practices are always maintained
• To assist in other departments when required

The Ideal Candidate

• Creative individual with a desire to learn new skills whilst sharing their own skills with others
• Attention to detail and an eye for quality
• Experience in an electrical assembly job
• Fundamental knowledge of electronics/electrical installation
• Experience working with LED lighting preferred
• Ability to work under pressure to meet customer delivery targets
• Systems building and panel wiring experience would be an advantage

Hours of work

Mon – Thurs 8.30am-5pm

Fri – 8.30am-4pm
