Surface Treatment Specialist

Hours

2 days a week (Monday & Wednesday or Tuesday & Thursday) Hours of work – 6 hours per day.  Hours can be flexible to suit candidate but some need to be worked within 9-5 AM.

Scope of work

Monitoring of metalworking fluids (6 HSE tests)

Recording of data on machine charts & in software program

Machine clean-outs & recycling

Problem solving

Monitoring result-based discussions with customer

Stock control & ordering

Making metalworking fluid additions

Key skills

Previous experience - not essential as full training will provided on the job, but will help fulfill job criteria;

CNC Operator

Fabrication/welding

Trained OR worked in engineering

Knowledge of metalworking fluids

Quality control OR auditing roles
