Rotherwood Recruitment has teamed with a long standing and prestigious audio engineering company who specialise in digital and analogue music consoles, outboard equipment and post production consoles. Supplying studios and artists of the highest calibre.

Due to expansion and growth, a vacancy has arisen in the Surface Mount Technology (SMT) section for a SMT Operative, including solder paste printing, component placement and some Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) operation.

There are several hundred different types of circuit boards to be assembled and so changeovers are frequent. In addition to pride in the quality and pass rate of work, an intelligent approach to maximising efficiency is important.

At our clients impressive premises in Burnley, you would be working in a lean and friendly environment and prepared for shift working.

The successful applicant will be required to run the equipment and ensure that it is set up and run efficiently and in accordance with all procedures. The capability to operate at times without close supervision whilst achieving the production plan and quality expectations is essential.

Some relevant experience of SMT equipment operation (preferably Europlacer) or equivalent is important.

Competitive Salary is commensurate with experience.
