Our client based on the outskirts of Keighley is looking to recruit a Sales Administration and Customer Service Assistant on a full time, permanent basis.
Description of the role
- Process sales orders (sales email, fax and EDI portals) and record in orders book
- Check sales orders against customer price lists.
- Process sales visits for National Accounts Manager or colleagues
- Process salt orders for merchant sales
- Raise salt purchase orders for merchant sales and check deliveries for invoice purposes.
- Review Technical Queries and Support emails.
- Raise purchase orders for service engineer visits.
- Review daily deliveries via courier manifest and website including raising proof of delivery on request by customers and checking couriers’ invoices.
- Raise Goods Returns on request by customers or colleagues.
- Make CRM changes when required by Managers.
- Weekly check of stock on selected product lines
- Any other task commensurate with the role.
Qualifications:
- 5 GCSEs grades A-C, 4-9 including Maths and English, or equivalent
- NVQ Level 3 in Administration or Customer Service.
Skills required:
- Effective communicator – clear verbal and written skills
- Use of MS Office and business email
- Numerical accuracy
- Ability to product and maintain accurate records and business documentation
- Minimum 1 years’ experience working in an environment speaking to people over the telephone
