Description

Our client based in Steeton is looking to recruit a Purchase Ledger Clerk on a full time, permanent basis.

Duties will include:

  • Process invoices through the system (multiple companies and currencies)
  • Matching of delivery notes and orders
  • Working with departments to clear queries
  • Work to resolve issues with GRNI (Goods Received Not Invoiced)
  • Chasing for authorisations and ensuring invoices are ready for payment
  • Supplier statement reconciliation
  • General administrative work such as filing, scanning, telephone calls and emails
  • Ensure that transactions are posted accurately and in a timely manner
  • Any additional tasks as requested by Management.

 

 

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Experience in a Finance / Admin role
  • Competent Excel skills essential
  • Keen eye for detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines
  • Experience of SAP ideal but not essential as full training is given.

 

Salary

  • £20k to £23k (subject to experience)

 

Working hours/rota

  • Monday to Thursday - 8:30am to 5:00pm (1-hour lunch)
  • Friday - 8:00am to 4:00pm (30-minute lunch)
  • Total of 37.5 hours per week

 

Holiday

  • 28 days – 31 days after 2 years of employment; 33 days after 5 years of employment.
