Description

Job Purpose

The Procurement Assistant will provide administrative support in the Procurement team with primary responsibility for the procurement of goods and services for the company.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct liaison with clients and vendors
  • Maintaining inventory
  • Liaise with Heads of departments to advise on ETA’s and product lead times
  • Build relationships with new and existing suppliers to support company’s profitability
  • Monitor supplier spend to ensure optimum pricing, discounts and rebates are achieved

 

Key Requirements:

  • 2 years’ experience in administration/procurement or supply chain
  • Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines effectively
  • Strong IT skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Good organisational skills
  • Good team player.

The salary range is: £19,000 to £24,000 per annum, 37.5 hours per week.
