Job Purpose
The Procurement Assistant will provide administrative support in the Procurement team with primary responsibility for the procurement of goods and services for the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct liaison with clients and vendors
- Maintaining inventory
- Liaise with Heads of departments to advise on ETA’s and product lead times
- Build relationships with new and existing suppliers to support company’s profitability
- Monitor supplier spend to ensure optimum pricing, discounts and rebates are achieved
Key Requirements:
- 2 years’ experience in administration/procurement or supply chain
- Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines effectively
- Strong IT skills
- Attention to detail
- Good organisational skills
- Good team player.
The salary range is: £19,000 to £24,000 per annum, 37.5 hours per week.
