Material Handler/FLT

Rotherwood is working alongside a well established engineering company who produces items for various industries including the automotive trade.

They are seeking a new member for their warehouse team to assist in the safe and efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of warehouse materials. The succesful candidate will have experience within stores/stock areas and hold an FLT licence.

General Duties:-

• Take delivery of goods and supplies, checking for damaged orr misssing items
• Store goods appropriately, moving either by hand, using lifting equipment or a fork lift truck
• Pick and pack orders for dispatch
• Load goods for dispatch
• Ensure delivery of materials to production lines in accordance with production standards
• Keep accurate stock records, by inputting up to date inventory into a computerised system
• Carry out stock counts as and when required
• Keep paperwork up to date
• Operate in a safe manner complying with all health, safety and environmental requirements to ensure own and safety of others
• Handle any hazardous materials in an appropriate manner
• Keep areas of work clean and tidy to ensure operational efficiency
• Make recommendations to aid efficiency and add value
• Booking in supplier deliveries & booking out customer deliveries

Qualifications:-

Forklift Truck is essential

Hours: Monday-Thursday 7.45am-5.00pm, Friday 7.45am-1.00pm

Rate of pay: £10.97 per hour (39hrs per week)
