Description:
Working for a long standing Lancashire based company that specialise in the manufacture of feather and fibre for soft furnishings.
Main Responsibilities:
- Operating a Feather or Fibre blowing machine.
- Sealing the filled cushion pads.
- Packing completed product.
- Quality checking items during and after production.
- Working in a timely manner to achieve daily targets.
- Ensuring work stations are kept clean and tidy.
- Assisting in the loading and unloading of delivery vehicles.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Experience of machine operating within a manufacturing industry (full training will be provided).
- Sewing experience preferred but not essential.
- Keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently.
Duration: Temp-Perm (for the right candidate this is a permanent role)
Hours: Monday-Thursday 7.30am-4.30pm : Friday 7.30am-12.30pm
Rate of Pay: £10.78 per hour
