The Business:

The Company is part of a Group of Companies specialising in all aspects of property purchase & management. They have offices based in Burnley and in Middlesbrough and manage a large portfolio of properties in both regions.

The company offer a fully client based serviced approach to investing in properties, acquiring properties from the open market, renovating them to a set standard, passing them onto the lettings department for maintenance and management and then re-selling the properties to investors.

The company have various departments, including Property Surveyance, Renovations, Lettings, Maintenance, Rent Collections, Property Management, Legal and Sales & Marketing.

Everything is done in-house. Due to their our successes, they have been featured on the popular BBC TV Show Homes Under the Hammer.

The Role:

We are looking for an experienced joiner to work mainly on full house refurbishments. You will take ownership of work, aiming for 'First time Fix' on all jobs whilst remaining within budget and time parameters.

You will also operate within company Health and Safety guidelines and remain up to date with technical and legal requirements of your skill areas. Typical work will comprise of empty properties that require full refurbishment.

As a skilled operative, you will be expected to have a multitude of skills to enable you to perform your tasks. We will expect the candidate to have a background in either plumbing and joinery skills. Roofing and plastering are desirable skills.

The Ideal Candidate:

This is the ideal position for someone who has been self-employed now looking for a fulltime permanent role. The individual must be proactive and able to identify issues quickly and remedy effectively. You must be practical and capable of producing consistent high-quality work where needed and completing general building and maintenance tasks efficiently.

We are looking for someone who can show initiative, can communicate well with colleagues and customers and completes jobs to a good standard.
