Description
Our client based in Bingley is looking to recruit a General Operative on a full-time basis, working nights.
The position will involve the operation of process machinery in the production, packing and despatch of conveyor belting products.
You will become part of a small, multi-skilled team, ultimately becoming capable of operating several machines and will most likely be required to work a night shift pattern: 22:00 to 06.15 but flexibility to work on other shifts is also required. Initially will train on day or evening shift (06:00-14:15 or 14:00-22:15) for approx. 6 months before moving to night shift. This night shift will attract a 20% shift premium
Key requirements:
- Previous machine minding experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided
- Practical ability
- Conscientious work ethic
- An eye for quality & a customer minded approach
- A current counterbalance forklift license would be desirable.
Rate of pay - £9.50 to £10 per hour.
