Job Role: Cut Crease Operative

Job Description: Working for a well-established packaging company,  you will responsible for operating and maintaining manufacturing machinery, working in dedicated capacity specialising in a single machine or class of machines.

Main Responsibilities:

• Running an automatic die-cutter in the production of corrugated packaging
• Setting the machine in accordance to the task sheet and adjusting where necessary
• Quality checking product
• Adhere to production schedule
• Basic maintenance and cleaning of machine
• Monitoring efficiency of machine
• Completing paperwork correctly to record faults, efficiency etc.
• Verify adequate materials and supplies are available to complete operations

The Ideal Candidate:

Alongside having knowledge of working with machines involved in the production of packaging the following is required:-

• Knowledge of safe machine practice
• Ability to problem solve
• High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Possess technical and physical ability
• Good organisational skills with good attendance and time-keeping
• Good understanding of verbal and written English

Rate of Pay: £13.40 p/h

Hours of Work: Monday-Thursday 7am-7pm
