Rotherwood Recruitment are working in partnership with a college in Pendle, who are looking for a temporary administrator/receptionist to join their team.

The role is working Monday – Thursday 8.00am – 4.00pm, Friday 8.00am – 3.30pm on a temporary contract until late April/May, however this could be extended for the right candidate and could lead to a permanent position.

Main Duties:

  1. General administration support for Curriculum teams including post distribution and communication with parents and learners, for example, issuing student contracts
  2. Effectively co-ordinate and provide administrative support for internal and external meetings on-site or remote via Teams or Zoom. Duties include scheduling meetings, taking minutes and arranging hospitality requests
  3. Respond to queries in a timely and professional manner, including for example, telephone website and team mailbox
  4. Update and maintain electronic College Management Information Systems, ensuring data is collected and recorded timely and in line with data regulations and contractual obligations, including for example:
  • Updating Pro-Monitor with information such as letters home, reward postcards, and student destinations
  • Inputting and inputting Emergency Contact/Next of Kin Forms etc.
  1. Supporting the College’s disciplinary process
  2. Ensuring the timely update of Evolve with details of trips and visits including input of trip registers, risk assessments, booking coaches/transport/events and producing letters to parents and learners
  3. Extract data from College systems into Excel and present in a user-friendly format
  4. Professionally liaise with internal and external customers through varied communication channels to ensure the College maintains operational effectiveness
