Description
Our client is looking for a Collections Driver to join their busy company. The company is the UK's leading safety surfacing contractor, laying soft surfaces for school playgrounds and parks.
Main duties:
- Collect bags of rubber and barrels of resin after completion of work
- Occasionally drop off fencing to sites
- Sometimes take/collect labourers to site, only if on your visit schedule
- Leave sites as clean as possible etc. sweeping up any noticeable granules on site and collect for disposal
Skills required:
- Full clean driving license - Class 1
- Ability to lift heavy products e.g. the bags of rubber can weigh up to 25kg, however the van will have wheelbarrow and ramps to assist in loading
- Flexibility for working hours and location, you will be informed of the address the night prior via email. Hours will vary dependent on location and sometimes overnight stay will be required (accommodation will be arranged by the company and you will be provided a £20 subs allowance)
- Able to work on your own initiative
For the right candidate this is a permanent role, looking for an immediate start
Hours: 40-50 hours per week
Rate of pay: £10.42 per hour
