Description
We are working with a growing, local business that performs cleaning services for a variety of domestic and commercial customers in and around the Keighley area including Haworth and Ilkley. They are looking to bring a couple of new people into the business who have experience of cleaning to a high standard.
Ideally you will drive but if not you can be 'buddied up' with another member of staff who does. You will be responsible for cleaning duties in a variety of settings (homes, pubs, schools, holiday lets, etc...) working between the hours of 7am and 6pm, initially for between 16 and 20 hours per week. This is physically demanding work and will require you to be in good health. Once you have settled into the company there will be the possibility of adding to your hours if you want to. Some of your hours will be during the weekend. Given the environments the company works in, if successful at interview, you will be required to obtain a DBS.
The position will be self employed as a sole trader meaning you will be paid the full £10.50 per hour and will be required to submit your own tax returns each year. In return for your hard work you will be joining a team that has a lot of pride in the work they do with an understanding boss. When the company is fully off the ground there will be the opportunity to convert to an employee of the business.
