Are you ready to take on a dynamic role in the heart of Cottingley, Bingley? Our esteemed client is seeking a dedicated and skilled Business Support Officer to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.

About the Role:

As a Business Support Officer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the office and providing high-level support to the Managing Director.

Responsibilities:

Personal Assistance to Managing Director:

  • Manage MS accounts (Teams and Outlook) and social media accounts.
  • Coordinate the Managing Director's calendar, appointments, and meetings.
  • Prioritize and manage inbox communications with confidentiality.
  • Assist with personal tasks to optimize the MD’s time and productivity.

 

Office Administration:

 

  • Oversee general office operations, including supplies, equipment, and facilities.
  • Manage communication channels and act as the first point of contact.
  • Ensure a clean, organized, and welcoming office environment.
  • Budget management and supplier relationship coordination.
  • Implement and streamline office policies and procedures.

 

Travel and Expenses:

  • Manage company credit cards and reconcile statements.
  • Arrange travel itineraries, accommodation, and transport for the team.
  • Oversee company-wide expenses platform.

 

Communication and Coordination:

  • Act as a liaison between the Senior Leadership Team and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with team members.
  • Prepare and distribute internal and external communications.

 

Event Coordination:

  • Collaborate with the team to plan and execute company events, meetings, and conferences.

Document Management:

 

  • Create, edit, and proofread documents, presentations, and reports.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date filing systems.

 

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Demonstrable experience in a busy business environment.
  • Proven experience as an office manager or executive assistant.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, and other relevant software.
  • Ability to work independently, managing and prioritizing tasks effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Capable of handling sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
