Our client based in Skipton is looking to recruit a Business Support Officer on a full time, permanent basis.
This role provides an exciting opportunity for someone who would like to work in a varied role, supporting the business' marketing, technical and warehouse functions - with full training included.
Managing different priorities and responding to the ever-changing needs of a customer centred company the Business Support Officer’s main duties will be to manage all of the technical support queries and call outs, marketing and online sales activities, as well as on and off-site warehouse duties. A full, clean driving license is essential.
Full training will be provided with this role but you will need to be naturally interested in problem solving, fixing things, active and have good written and verbal communication skills. In return, you will be surrounded by a friendly, supportive team where you will have the opportunity to grow and develop.
Responsibilities
• They will train you to have excellent barista skills and to understand the basic workings of espresso machines, grinders, bean to cup machines and other brewing equipment.
• You will be trained on how to produce creative content to support the business’ marketing objectives.
This role will be perfect for an individual with real drive, bags of enthusiasm and who loves to be out and about. The role breaks down into three main functions:
• Technical support – recording calls from customers, troubleshooting, booking engineers, ensuring SLAs are met and maintained, assisting customers on site with basic technical support, training and customer service.
• Marketing activities – posting social media stories, generating wholesale and retail newsletters, driving online sales and managing online stock and content.
• Warehouse and delivery duties – seeing in deliveries from suppliers, rotating stock, moving stock between sites, keeping the warehouse and workshop in good repair, providing back up customer deliveries, and able to complete the relevant administrative duties that go hand in hand.
Qualifications
• Sound working knowledge of Microsoft applications
• Confident telephone skills
• Strong organisational abilities
• Customer service experience
• Excellent numeracy and literacy skills
• Full clean driving license – Must be over 25 years old due to insurance purposes.
Hours of work – 8.30am till 5pm Monday to Friday
Rate of pay - £12 per hour
