Are you ambitious, business minded and looking to begin a career in Business or recruitment? Rotherwood Recruitment are recruiting a Business Administrator Apprentice for our Burnley branch. This position offers a clear progression path, and we will support you to be wherever you wish to be within the business. Based in a modern recently refurbished town centre office, easily commutable on public transport from Burnley, Nelson, Blackburn, Padiham and Ribble Valley.
You will require a good standard of general education below degree level, computer skills working with Microsoft Office applications, good communicate skills and a desire to learn and progress. We will provide an induction, training, and support whilst you gain confidence, experience, knowledge, and a portfolio of evidence for apprenticeship accreditation.
Duties will include:
- Working closely with the team to support the administration process.
- Act as an administrator for any ongoing and new tasks within the team.
- Use Word, Excel, and Outlook etc., to produce documents and correspond and respond to messages
- Take calls and messages for the team.
- Greeting new candidates upon arrival for appointments.
- Explaining the company registration form to candidates and supplying them with the correct paperwork.
- Processing, filing and distribution of documents, letters, and appointments
- Interact with employees at different levels of the organisation
- Input candidate and clients’ details onto a database and retrieve information as required
- Carry out any photocopying, scanning, or filing as required
- To undertake any other duties commensurate with the post.
- Updating the company social media pages.
This role will be an excellent opportunity for someone looking to move into a Business or recruitment career. Working closely with management, trainees, and apprentices there will be unlimited support.
Working hours will be Monday – Friday, 30 hours within the office setting per week and one day at college. Times can be flexible if they fit business hours.
