Building Yard Sales Assistant

Our client is looking for a Full Time Yard Sales Assistant to work in their busy Building department.

Job role entails: -

• Heavy lifting - Helping load customer vehicles (trade and retail)
• Supplier deliveries - Checking goods in / unloading goods
• Delivery service - Loading deliveries for our transport department
• Customer orders - Preparing orders for both trade and retail

Key Skills we are looking for: -

• Excellent customer service
• Be reliable, motivated and organised
• Have the ability to work well within a team
• Forklift licence preferred
• Good product knowledge would be an advantage

The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a timber or builder’s merchant.

You will be joining a team of highly experienced people, many of whom have developed a long-term career here.

Hours of Work: - Monday to Friday 7.30am to 5.00pm (45mins break for lunch)

Please note that alternate Saturdays may be required 9.00am to 12noon
