Rotherwood Teachers are currently recruiting for a permanent, full-time (40 hours per week) Admissions Manager to join an outstanding school in Blackburn.

This role will oversee the entire development and delivery of admissions in support of the School’s strategic aims, alongside the Principal, and working closely with the Promotions Manager.

Admissions Manager responsibilities include:

  • Consult and advise Principal and Commercial Director on forecasts and projected pupil numbers
  • Maintain up to date records of retention and recruitment figures
  • Regularly analyse data and market trends to ensure the School maintains a strong market share
  • Work collaboratively with the Promotions Manager
  • Develop and oversee the School’s Bursary and Scholarship programme
  • Complete all Registrar responsibilities such as managing SIMs data and liaising with the LEA
  • Collecting, tracking and analysis of all essential admissions and promotions KPIs
  • Collaborating with the SLT and staff to improve internal communications and events
  • Review and develop a targeted pupil/market recruitment strategy
  • Work with the Principal to commission or devise any research required to monitor admissions performance, inform future admissions and promotions policy and approaches, to measure and evaluate the educational provision/service, as well as projects and developments
  • Maintain pupil records and databases as required to ensure information held is current, accurate and easily accessible in accordance with GDPR requirements
  • Work closely with the Centenary Co-ordinator to connect with and drive meaningful relationships with all our Alumni, ensuring the customer journey continues beyond the end of Sixth Form
  • Monitoring and reporting of all high-level metrics, revising strategies and tactical plans where appropriate
  • Regularly review own practice, set personal development targets and take responsibility for own professional development

The successful Admissions Manager will:

  • Provide relevant references.
  • Have experience working within an educational setting or in a similar role.
  • Possess a current DBS check or be prepared to apply for one as part of your registration.
  • Be committed to the safeguarding of children and young people.
  • Be willing to complete a face to face registration and satisfy several checks.
