Our client is looking for an Administrator with the following skills.

Provide highly effective, efficient and timely administrative support which meets the varied needs and complexities of each curriculum area.  Ensure that all aspects of the College’s business are focused on learners and work closely with curriculum and support teams in order to ensure the college delivers an outstanding offer to learners.

Have an understanding of all functions and processes and ensure high levels of customer service are achieved.

General duties include:

  • To administer paperwork and data inline with College procedures and processes
  • Manage workload
  • Keep up to date with systems that effectively support the College
  • Ensure adherence to financial processes, as required
  • Build collaborative relationships across College


Role specific duties include:

General administration support for Curriculum teams

Effectively co-ordinate and provide administrative support for apprenticeship enrolment paperwork

Respond to queries in a timely and professional manner, including for example, telephone, website Live Chat and team mailbox

Update and maintain electronic College Management Information Systems, ensuring data is collected and recorded timely and in line with data regulations and contractual obligations, including for example:

Processing apprenticeship enquiries

Maths and English assessment bookings

Data entry for staff and employer feedback forms

Extract data from College systems into Excel and present in a user friendly format

Check tutor timetable against EBS course information

Professionally liaise with internal and external customers through varied communication channels to ensure the College maintains operational effectiveness

In association with the Head of Curriculum, plan, co-ordinate and contact learners, for example to book assessment sessions and track attendance

Communicate efficiently with community venues, learners and teaching staff to provide information on course amendments and cancellations

Meet and greet visitors, determining their needs and signposting them correctly

Ideally, candidates will possess a current DBS.
