Administrative Assistant

 

Job Purpose

The Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support in the Procurement department in various administrative tasks.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct liaison with clients and vendors
  • Maintaining inventory
  • Liaise with Heads of departments to advise on ETA’s and product lead times
  • Build relationships with new and existing suppliers to support company’s profitability
  • Monitor supplier spend to ensure optimum pricing, discounts and rebates are achieved
  • Day to day electronic filing to support the compliance of chemicals

 

Key Requirements:

  • Experience in administration/procurement or supply chain
  • Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines effectively
  • Strong IT skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Good organisational skills
  • Good team player

The salary range is: £19,000 to £24,000 per annum, 37.5 hours per week.
