Description
Rotherwood Teachers are currently recruiting for a AAT Tutor to join a well established organisation based in Bolton. The role is a part time (21.5 hours) permanent position.
The key duties of the ATT Tutor role include:
- To design, develop and deliver creative, inclusive high-quality learning programmes in accordance with awarding organisations specifications and standards.
- To teach, assess and support learners on level 2, 3 and level 4 accounting programmes.
- To effectively manage the Quality Assurance process of qualifications in line with awarding organisation specifications and standards in order to continuously improve the learner journey.
- To monitor and continuously update learner records ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations in line with company requirements.
- To effectively manage the learning process.
- To ensure the safety and well-being of all learners.
- Carry out regular risk assessments of the learning process.
- Liaise and work with all key stakeholders
- To be responsible for self-development including Continuous Professional Development and competence, incorporating both academic and professional training.
Essential requirements:
- Accredited qualification minimum Level 2 in Numeracy & ICT
- Robust knowledge of Accounting practices, and ideally AAT qualifications and curriculum of the AAT Programme.
- Provide relevant references.
- Possess a current DBS check or be prepared to apply for one as part of your registration.
- Be committed to the safeguarding of children and young people.
- Be willing to complete a face to face registration and satisfy several checks.
Desirable requirements:
- Possession of a professional teaching qualification (desirable)
- Possession of Assessor Qualification (desirable)
- Prior experience within Education
