Rotherwood Teachers are looking to recruit an RE Teacher for an immediate start. Teaching KS3 and KS4
Plan work in accordance with departmental schemes of work and national curriculum programmes of study.
Take account of pupils’ prior levels of attainment and use them to set future targets.
Maintain good discipline by following the school’s pupil disciplinary policies and procedures.
Establish a purposeful working atmosphere during all learning activities.
Set appropriate and challenging work for all pupils.
Identify and work appropriately with 'special educational needs’ pupils and 'gifted and talented’ pupils. Assessment, Recording and Reporting
Keep appropriate records of pupils’ work.
Mark and return work set, including homework within an agreed and reasonable time.

Hold a valid teaching qualification such as a PGCE, QTS or QTLS
Provide details of at least two referees covering the last 5 years' work history
Possess a current criminal record check (Enhanced DBS certificate that is registered with the online update service) or be prepared to apply for one as part of your registration
Be committed to the safeguarding of children and young people
Be willing to complete a face to face registration and satisfy several checks
