Our client based in Bradford is looking to recruit a PA to the Principal & Cover Co-Ordinator on a temporary on going basis.

Duties will include:

·Deal with daily correspondence (post and email), filing, diary management, organising meetings, travel arrangements, dealing with telephone calls, dealing with visitor itineraries, taking minutes at meetings and staff briefings.

·Undertake general administration duties (e.g. letters and data processing, producing reports, photocopying, collation and distribution of documents, filing, scanning, faxing etc.

·Ensure the Principal is briefed and prepared for Academy events in line with the calendar and meetings

·Co-ordinate SLT agendas and minutes as directed

·Provide administrative support for SLT such as letters, minutes as necessary

·To develop constructive relationships and communicate with other agencies / professionals / the media / other schools / parents, presenting a professional and positive impression of the Academy at all times.

·To develop constructive relationships with the senior students and co-ordinate their activities when necessary for whole-Academy events.

·Liaise with Clerk of the Governing Body and associated committees and provide information and guidance as necessary.

·To be involved in the organisation of events such as Presentation Evenings, Academy productions, external conferences, Open Evenings, staff events, Staff Community and Service Awards etc.

·To liaise with the Principal and any other relevant staff, re marketing and promotional activities for the Academy e.g. production of new prospectus, newspaper articles, website maintenance, newsletters etc.

·To communicate regularly with the Operations Manager any concerns regarding the health and safety of the Academy, or any information that may cause reputational risk.

·Line manage the cover supervisors, informing them of day-to-day requirements, liaising with their designated department for their additional duties.

·Maintain the diary for absence of teaching staff, trips and other events.

·Ensure that the cover requirements of absent staff are communicated to Heads of Departments as appropriate.

·Inform duty team leaders re absent duty staff.

·Ensure that all cover requirements are completed by staff.

·Liaise with supply agencies

·Hold regular team briefings with direct reports to share good practice, key messages and address any issues arising.

This is a full time position paying £21,000 . You will need to have a DBS disclosure done for this role.
