Description
Our client based in Grassington is looking to recruit a Maintenance Engineer on a full time, permanent basis to work at their sites in Keighley and Grassington.
Duties will include:
- To provide electrical and mechanical maintenance to a range of machinery including shrink wrappers, conveyors, generators, chillers, and bottling machinery.
- Reacting to urgent breakdowns reducing machine downtimes to a minimum.
- Electrical repairs to motors, drives, inverters, encoders, boards, wiring, switches, relays , contactors, sensors
- PLC Fault finding and interrogation to trace back faults. Recording and communicating all findings
- Assisting with projects and the installation of new plant – communicating effectively with the engineering manager
- Assisting with developing and implementing line improvements, new installations, offline repairs
- Planned maintenance and any other tasks deemed appropriate by the engineering manager.
- Adhere to all company polices.
Key requirements:
- Electrical qualification
- Electronics / plc
- Pneumatics
- Mechanical engineering
- MIG and TIG Welding
- A proven track record in an engineering and fault-finding role.
