Description

Our client based in Keighley is looking to recruit a Customer Service Administrator on a full time, temporary to permanent basis.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Use the order management system to accurately process, track, amend and update customer orders
  • Take responsibility for a becoming an operational expert in the Order Management System
  • Work with couriers and freight forwarders to ensure parcels are dispatched / collected on time
  • Manage the required workload, ensuring the prompt and accurate completion of order management tasks and administration to ensure Customer requirements and lead times are met.
  • Report any staff welfare issues to Assistant Manager / Manager promptly
  • Immediately report any Health and Safety issues such as :
  • PPE (lack of or unsuitable)
  • Use of personal mobiles
  • Poor or unsafe materials handling
  • Any other unsafe practice
  • Operate the Order Management System to:
  • Process, edit, update, and manage orders
  • Print orders and produce shipping labels for the appropriate service
  • Provide information (status updates, tracking information or reporting)

 

  • Liaise with transport providers
  • Take responsibility for communicating with all Customers in a warm and professional manner in person, on email or phone
  • Ensure the accuracy of Customer charges to ensure invoicing is correct
  • Take responsibility for ensuring that issues are resolved (directly or indirectly) and communicated to the Customer promptly and professionally such as:
  • Responding to enquiries and issues, resolving, or escalating as appropriate
  • Reporting any order issues to promptly to give Customers as much notice as possible
  • Reporting any stock/delivery/dispatch issues as soon as they are discovered
  • Resolving issues that Customers have relating to current orders, forwarding to Assistant Manager / Manager if required
  • Answering general questions or queries
  • Maintaining a clean, tidy, and efficient workspace.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience of working in Warehousing or Logistics
  • Experience of using warehouse management systems
  • Education to College level (BTEC /NVQ / AS Level / A Levels / Higher)
  • PC literate to a good standard in Microsoft Office
  • Good written and excellent verbal communication skills

 

Hours of work – Shift work 6.00am - 2.00pm or 1.30pm - 9.30pm.

Rate of Pay - £8.72 per hour
