Rotherwood Teachers are currently recruiting a Computing Lecturer to join a dynamic IT department within a well-established, forward thinking establishment in Blackburn.

The role is a Part-time temporary position starting in January 2021 lasting for 1 month. It consists of working 25 hours across 5 days and for the right candidate has the potential to extend further.

The applicant will be expected to take part in any necessary activities/ duties of a permanent teacher including planning and preparing lessons, parents evening and staff meetings. You will be required to teach Computing and programming to Key Stage 5.

The successful Computing Lecturer will:

• Can execute lessons based around T-Level Programme and RQF Level 3
• Have a proven track record of a programming background
• Can commute between different sites based in Lancashire
• Holding a valid teaching qualification
• Be an excellent, inspirational teacher with strong classroom management
• Possess a passion for the subject, teaching and pupil development
• Provide relevant references
• Possess a current DBS check or be prepared to apply for one as part of your registration
• Be committed to the safeguarding of children and young people
• Be willing to complete a face to face registration and satisfy several checks
